Mexican White Cheese Dip

Smooth, creamy, and packed with bold flavor, Mexican white cheese dip is the kind of dip everyone gathers around. Made with melted white cheese and a blend of spices, it’s rich without being heavy and perfectly scoopable. Serve it warm with chips for an easy appetizer that always disappears fast.

Ingredients
 

  • 1/2 pound white American cheese (slices from the deli department)
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 4 oz can of green chili's
  • ¼ teaspoon cumin
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
  • pinch of salt

Instructions
 

  • Place white American cheese, milk, and butter in a saucepan over low heat.
  • Heat until melted, stirring frequently. This step should take about 5-6 minutes
  • Stir in can of green chiles, cumin, garlic powder, and teaspoon cayenne pepper. Salt to taste
  • Serve immediately with chips
