Ingredients
 

  • 1/2 cup yellow onion
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 8 oz. can tomato sauce
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1/2 lb. pasta shells (uncooked)
  • 4 oz. cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • 2 tbsp relish

Instructions
 

  • Dice the onion
  • Heat a large skillet to medium high heat. Add the olive oil, onion, and ground beef and cook for 5-6 minutes. Ground beef should be fully cooked and the onions translucent
  • Add the flour and continue to cook for 1 minute.
  • Add the tomato sauce and beef broth to the skillet and let it come up to a simmer.
  • Add in the pasta. Stir everything together and let it come up to a simmer.
  • Add the lid to the skillet and cook for 10 minutes on low, making sure the skillet keeps the simmer the entire time
  • Add the relish and cheddar cheese, stir to combine
  • Remove from heat and serve
